Currently, we are looking for a Audio Visual Support Technician to join the ArcBest Technologies team. The daily activity of an ArcBest Technologies Audio Visual Support Technician requires excellent problem solving as well as time management skills. The primary responsibility includes oversight of Audio/Visual (A/V) hardware and software.

Your contribution may include:

  • Coordinate, setup, and operate A/V equipment for training, presentations, meetings and conferences. 
  • Ensure all conference rooms are set-up according to specifications for upcoming meetings/events.
  • Assist with scheduling conference rooms in Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
  • Perform equipment additions, removals, repairs, replacements and inspections.
  • Identify and resolve A/V malfunctions in real time.
  • Read, interpret and maintain room schematics with respect to A/V configurations.
  • Operate, maintain and perform regular checks of A/V systems in conference rooms.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As the Audio Visual Support Technician, you will be a member of the ArcBest Technologies Information Center team in ArcBest Technologies, AR. Work hours vary based on scheduling to provide market coverage during normal business hours. Market coverage is provided 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with the possibility of being on call during non-business hours. Ready to apply? Education: High School Diploma.

Experience: Minimum, two years’ related A/V experience, preferred. 

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Office Suite.

Certifications: Basic understanding of Audio-Visual equipment, preferred.
