Currently, we are looking for a SharePoint Administration Analyst to join the ArcBest Technologies team. The daily activity of an ArcBest Technologies SharePoint Administration Analyst requires excellent problem solving as well as time management skills. The primary responsibility includes administrative oversight of Microsoft SharePoint and Teams for ArcBest employees and contractors.

Your contribution may include:

  • Monitor the Microsoft Office 365 roadmap and maintain a detailed understanding of forthcoming features.
  • Evaluate emerging features in Microsoft SharePoint/Teams and determines their strategic value.
  • Collaborate with enterprise project teams to coordinate strategic use of SharePoint/Teams features and functionality.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the business to facilitate adoption of SharePoint, Teams, and associated third-party software.
  • Collaborate with system administrators and systems analysts to deploy and maintain integration with SharePoint/Teams, telephony systems, and other third-party software.
  • Support the setup, planning, and lead the execution of larger scale integration and migration projects.
  • Source and provide relevant documentation and training materials to the corporate training department to drive user awareness and product adoption.
  • Create, manage, and troubleshoot SharePoint/Teams workflows.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot SharePoint/Teams performance and functionality.
  • Oversee user permissions and site security to ensure information security standards are enforced and business value is captured.
  • Propose and ensure adherence to SharePoint/Teams standards and policies.
  • Advise company leadership on potential beneficial uses of SharePoint features, and works to implement said uses as directed. 
  • Other projects and duties, as needed. 

As the SharePoint Administration Analyst, you will be a member of the ArcBest Technologies Information Center team in Fort Smith, AR. Work hours vary based on scheduling to provide market coverage during normal business hours. Market coverage is provided 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with the possibility of being on call during non-business hours.Ready to apply? Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent, preferred.  

Experience: Minimum, two years’ related information technology experience.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and Office Suite preferred. Knowledge of PowerShell scripting language, preferred.

Other Requirements: Comprehensive knowledge of IT security policies, standards and procedures
